Today, I am reviewing the Swiss Color Aquarel Water Soluble Wax Crayons Pastels from Caran d’Ache, which comes in a 15 set. Upon opening the box, I found it a bit difficult to open, but it eventually came out. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no staining on my fingers when I tested them out. These water-soluble wax pastels are suitable for both dry and wet applications and offer 15 bright and dense colors. The pastels themselves are smooth, but they are a bit hard to use, and I had to press harder to put pigment down. The black appears to be more like a dark gray, but the overall color result is quite vibrant.<\/p>\n

When comparing these pastels to the Caran d’Ache Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastels, the Neocolor II set is much softer but significantly more expensive. The Prima Marketing water-soluble oil pastels are also softer, but they stick more to the paper, making it difficult to produce sharp lines.<\/p>\n

Overall, the Swiss Color Aquarel Water Soluble Wax Crayons Pastels are an okay set to try out for those interested in water-soluble wax pastels. They are priced around \u20ac10, which is relatively affordable. However, the set is half the size of other more expensive options, such as the Caran d’Ache Neocolor II water-soluble wax pastels, which offer more colors and softer pastels.<\/p>\n
